Summary
Authorization to approve an amendment to the current Water Usage Data and Sewer Shut Off Agreement, between the LFUCG and the KAWC (Resolution 433-2012). The amendment will ensure timely payment of delinquent sewer fees, by increasing the number of shut offs performed per week. There will be no Budgetary implications to this Agreement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Amendment to Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Kentucky-American Water Company to perform additional shut-offs for nonpayment of delinquent sewer fees.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
