Communications from the Mayor - Donations
Summary
(1) Accepting and approving the following donations for the following departments and divisions:
a. Parks and Recreation - accepting a donation from the Hopewell Museum in Paris, KY: a taxidermy otter for display at the McConnell Springs Nature Education Center (estimated value $500.00).
b. Parks and Recreation - accepting a donation from the Greater New Orleans Foundation: $5,000.00 to support recreational and educational programming for all ages at Kelley’s Landing. Programming includes hikes, walks, water activities, environmental education, crafts, and games. (Budget Amendment #14450)
c. Police - making a donation to the Murray Police Department: of a Faro Focus 3D X 330 Scanner and accessories to the Murray Police Department. This equipment no longer provides a benefit to LFUCG.
