A Resolution authorizing and directing the Div. of Traffic Engineering to install two (2) sets of speed tables on Endon Dr., as traffic calming devices, pursuant to Section 18-51 of the Code of Ordinances, and further authorizing and approving the transfer of Council Capital Projects funds to the Div. of Traffic Engineering in the amount of $12,000, representing the cost of such installation. WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18-51 of the Code of Ordinances and other authorities, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to maintain traffic control signs, signals, and devices deemed necessary to regulate traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Urban County Council has determined that Endon Drive should have traffic calming devices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Traffic Engineering be and hereby is authorized and directed to install two (2) sets of speed tables on Endon Drive, as traffic calming devices.
Section 2 - That the transfer of funds in the amount of $12,000.00 from the Council Capital Projects fund to the Division of Traffic Engineering (1105-303602-91616), for the installation of two (2) sets of speed tables on Endon Drive, as traffic calming devices, be and hereby is authorized and approved.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
