BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Asset Purchase and Sale Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Kentucky Utilities Company, to purchase the Downtown Area public Granville Street Lights and related equipment and facilities.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $475,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Kentucky Utilities Company, from account #1105-313201-75801 ($458,758.00) and 1116-313201-75801 ($16,242.00), pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and subject to certain pending budget amendments.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
