WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-83 and other authorities, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to designate streets as One-Way; and
WHEREAS, the Urban County Council has determined that Wickliffe Street, between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Spruce Street, should be designated as a One-Way street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Preamble to this Ordinance be and hereby is incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
Section 2 - That Wickliffe Street, between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Spruce Street, shall be designated as a One-Way street.
Section 3 - That the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and directed to install proper and appropriate signs and markings in accordance with the designation in Section 1.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
