Summary

 

Authorization to accept a Mutual Aid Agreement with the Fayette County Public Schools Police Department.  This Mutual Aid Agreement outlines the procedure to be followed by the requesting and responding agencies in the event of a request for assistance pursuant to KRS 431.007 and Section 23-9(U) (2) of the revised Code of Ordinances. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Mutual Aid Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Fayette County Public Schools, for procedures in the event of a request for assistance.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
