WHEREAS, the Council by Ordinance No. 57-90 enacted Section 18-114.1 of the Code of Ordinances establishing restrictions and prohibitions relating to the Residential Parking Permit Program, including penalties thereof, which section was subsequently amended by Ordinance No. 101-90; and
WHEREAS, the Council, by Resolution No. 168-90, adopted a procedure on Requests to Establish a Residential Parking Permit Program; which Procedure was subsequently amended by Resolutions No. 450-91 and 433-2006; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of the Council to establish a Residential Parking Permit Program for the 200 block of the south side of Miller Street from address 200 to 240 and to waive the provisions relating to the mechanics of designating residential parking permit areas set forth in the Procedures adopted by Resolution No. 168-90 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 450-91 and 433-2006.
