NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Section 2-305(1) and 2-305-(2) of the Code of Ordinances of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-305. Duties.
The special events commission shall perform the following duties:
(1) The commission shall be responsible for reviewing applications
on the "Fourth of July Festival," "New Year's Eve Celebration," and other special events, including races, parades, art fairs, etc.
(2) The commission shall coordinate its event applications with urban county government divisions as necessary.
