WHEREAS, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet ("Cabinet") has determined that certain Rd.s constructed and/or currently maintained in Fayette County as part of the State Primary Road System do not logically fit within the State Primary Road System; and
WHEREAS, the Cabinet has requested that the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government ("LFUCG") accept ownership and maintenance of these state-maintained Rd.ways, including but not limited to portions located on Georgetown Road, Leestown Road, Newtown Pike, Citation Boulevard, and Liberty-Todds Road, as well as portions of other state supplemental Rd.s and other state-maintained Rd. facilities, as described more particularly in a letter dated April 27, 2022 and as depicted more particularly in maps appended thereto, all of which are attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth fully herein; and
WHEREAS, the Cabinet has agreed to certain revisions of proposed transfer plans and has agreed to successfully complete certain maintenance tasks for the portions of the Rd.ways which LFUCG has been requested to accept ownership and m...
