This Agreement (pursuant to KRS Chapter 431) allows for the Crime Stoppers organization operating in a county May enter into a written Agreement with the governing body of that county whereby the crime stoppers organization May be funded in part by a $1.00 fee added to court costs collected in that county. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement of Affiliation, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Bluegrass Crime Stoppers, Inc., for funding by a $1.00 fee added to court costs.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
