Summary
Authorization to execute a Host Agency Agreement between the National Council on Aging’s Senior Community Service Employment Program and the Department of Social Services. This Agreement will allow the Department of Social Services to participate collaboratively in with the National Council on Aging through implementation of the Senior Community Service Employment Program, with the provision of work placements for Seniors at no cost to LFUCG. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the National Council on Aging, for placement of participants of the Senior Community Service Employment Program with the Department of Social Services, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
