Summary
Authorization to amend lease Agreement R 578-2012 with West End Community Empowerment Project (WECEP) for usage of approximately 4,416 sf of space within Black & Williams gymnasium located at 498 Georgetown Street. The Agreement will allow continued occupancy on a month-to-month basis until such time a new lease Agreement has been negotiated. This Agreement will create annual revenue of $12,795.48. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Second Amendment to Lease Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the lease Agreement with the West End Community Empowerment Project, allowing the Project to continue using the Black and Williams Gymnasium, located at 498 Georgetown Street in Lexington, Kentucky, on a month-to-month basis, generating a monthly revenue of $1,066.29.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
