BE IT ORDAINDED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Section 2-464 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is created to read as follows:
Sec. 2-464.  Created and Purpose.
 
      A commission is hereby created which shall be known as the "Corridors Commission".  It shall be the purpose of the Corridors Commission to assess the major roads of Lexington-Fayette County, especially the major and minor arterials, regarding but not limited to aesthetic qualities, viewsheds, landscaping, fencing, signage, litter control, bike and pedestrian considerations and other elements the Commission may deem appropriate.  
 
 
Section 2 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
