Summary
Authorization to execute Change Order #2 for the Idle Hour Park Demolition and Football Field Construction project in the amount of $18,015.00. The change order is required to address unanticipated site issues of an unsuitable soil condition within the area for the parking lot adjacent to the St. Ann entrance to the park. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Contract with LAGCO Excavating, Inc. for the Idle Hour Park Demolition and Football Field Construction Project, increasing the contract price by the sum of $18,015.00 from $560,693.00 to $578,708.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $18,015.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to LAGCO Excavating, Inc. from account #1105-707602-7221-90319, pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
