Authorization to request a Resolution authorizing LFUCG to purchase 0.80 acres of property located behind 3316 Buckhorn Drive which is a component of a larger tract recorded as 3720 Richmond Road that is currently owned by the Kentucky-American Water Company. This property must be acquired for construction of new East Hickman Sanitary Pump Station and Wet Weather Storage Tank. This is a Consent Decree project. The cost is $25,000.00. Funds are Budgeted. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute all documents necessary for the purchase of a 0.8 acre portion of the property located at 3720 Richmond Road from Kentucky-American Water Company, necessary for the expansion of the East Hickman Pump Station and the construction of a wet weather storage tank.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $25,000.00, plus usual and appropriate closing costs, be and hereby is approved for payment to Kentucky-American Water Company from account #4003-303408-3466-92811 at the time of closing.
