Summary
Authorization to enter into a Naming Rights Agreement with Fifth Third Bank for the naming rights of the Pavilion at Henry A. Tandy Centennial Park; the initial Agreement began in 2010. Fifth Third Bank agrees to pay $70,000 per year for a total of $210,000 for the naming rights to the pavilion. The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of three (3) calendar years (2026, 2027 and 2028) commencing on the date of the execution of this Agreement. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Naming Rights Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Fifth Third Bank, N.A., providing the naming rights of the Pavilion at Henry A. Tandy Centennial Park, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - This Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
