A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute certificates of consideration and other necessary documents, and to accept deeds from owners of record, for property interests needed for the construction of a public plaza directly adjacent to the recently commissioned statue, “Towards Freedom”, at a cost not to exceed $1,500. [Council Office, Hall]

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute certificates of consideration and other necessary documents, and to accept deeds from owners of record, for property interests needed for the the construction of a public plaza directly adjacent to the recently commissioned statue, “Towards Freedom”, at a cost not to exceed $1,500.00.

Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $1,500.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to property owners, plus usual and appropriate closing costs, all from account # 1101-707601-75101, at the time of closing.

Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
