A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute two year Subrecipient Agreements with each of the following organizations using Federal Grant funds awarded pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA): Awesome U, LLC ($100,000); Bluegrass Community and Technical College ($100,000); Home Builders Association of Lexington, Inc. ($100,000); Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties, Inc. ($100,000); FoodChain, Inc. ($100,000); Jubilee Jobs of Lexington, Inc. ($100,000); Lexington Rescue Mission, Inc. ($100,000); and Opportunity Workshop of Lexington, Inc. ($100,000), for a total amount not to exceed $800,000 ($400,000 in FY 2023), to support workforce development in Lexington-Fayette County, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other necessary Agreements or amendments with the organizations related to the use of these funds.
