Authorization to execute an amendment to the current Exchange of Information Agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, Department of Workforce Investment, Office of Employment and Training. The attached amendment is in regards to the passage of House Bill 5 (HB 5) of the 2014 General Assembly. The existing Exchange of Information Agreement requires an amendment in order to be compliant. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the amendment with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, Department of Workforce Investment, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for exchange of Information.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
