This is a request to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Dr. Ryan Stanton to serve as Medical Director for the Division of Fire and Emergency Services. The initial term is for three (3) years beginning February 28, 2013, with automatic renewal for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. The cost will be $50,000 for the first year, $75,000 for the second year and $94,500 for the third year and each year thereafter. Funds are budgeted.

{ A request to enter into an agreement with Dr. Ryan Stanton to serve as the Division’s Medical Director. The Division is required by 202 KAR 7:501 to have a Medical Director in order to operate as an advanced life support ambulance service. The requirements for this position are set forth in 202 KAR 7:801. The Medical Director oversees and sets medical protocols under which all members of the Lexington Fire and Emergency Services personnel operate.
