An Ordinance recognizing the need to regulate data centers as an emerging land use in Lexington-Fayette County by amending the Lexington-Fayette County Zoning Ordinance, as follows: amending Section 1-11 to create definitions for data center, data center major, data center minor, and server room; clarifying uses by deleting references to computer and data processing centers in Sections 8-15, 8-19, 8-21, 8-24, 23A-9 and 23A-10; amending Section 8-1 relating to the Agricultural-Rural (A-R) zone to classify major and minor data centers as a prohibited use; amending Section 8-2 relating to the Agricultural-Buffer (A-B) zone to classify major and minor data centers as a prohibited use; amending Section 8-3 relating to the Agricultural-Natural Areas (A-N) zone to classify major and minor data centers as a prohibited use; amending Section 8-15 relating to the Professional Office (P-1) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use; amending Section 8-16 relating to the Neighborhood Business (B-1) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use and to classify major and minor data centers as a prohibited use; amending Section 8-17 relating to the Downtown Business (B-2) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use; amending Section 8-19 relating to the Downtown Frame Business (B-2b) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use and to classify major and minor data centers as a prohibited use; amending Section 8-20 relating to the Corridor Business (B-3) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use; amending Section 8-21 relating to the Wholesale and Warehouse Business (B-4) zone to classify server rooms as an accessory use, to classify minor data centers as a conditional use, to classify major data centers as a prohibited use, and to provide conditions and considerations for the board of adjustment when it considers any conditional use application for a data center; amending Section 8-22 relating to the Light Industrial (I-1) zone, to classify ser...
