House Bill (HB) 1 County Clerks Election Equipment Grant Application for up to $378,484.54 in HB 1 Project Funds with the Dept. for Local Government (DLG) for election equipment for the County Clerk, to provide additional information and execute any documents which are deemed necessary by DLG to carry out this project, and to accept this Grant if the application is approved; and authorizing the Mayor to transfer unencumbered funds within the Grant Budget. WHEREAS, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government is a merged government which replaced and superseded the governments of the City of Lexington and Fayette County; and
WHEREAS, the Urban County Government desires to purchase election equipment approved by the State Board of Elections (SBE) on behalf of the residents of Lexington-Fayette County by supporting the HB 1 Project; and
