BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Professional Services Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with SWAG: Sisters Working Against Gun Violence, to provide financial assistance along with other resources to those in Fayette-County area that have been directly impacted by gun violence for FY 2027.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $80,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to SWAG: Sisters Working Against Gun Violence from account # 1101-133006-78112.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
