WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 18-83 and other authorities, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to designate streets as One-Way and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18-109 of the Code of Ordinances, the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and empowered to designate Angle Parking on streets; and;
WHEREAS, the Urban County Council has determined that Lewis Street should be designated as a One-Way street and that Angle Parking should be allowed on Lewis Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That Lewis Street shall be designated as a One-Way street and Angle Parking shall be permitted on Lewis Street.
Section 2 - That the Division of Traffic Engineering is authorized and directed to install proper and appropriate signs and markings in accord with the designation in Section 1.
Section 3 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on the date of its passage.
