Authorization to amend Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances to reflect the creation of the Housing Repair Financial Assistance Program and establish a mechanism to provide assistance to homeowners that have been placed under a Notice of Repair by the Division of Code Enforcement for the repair of their property. WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to establish a Housing Repair Financial Assistance Program to financially assist qualified property owners with home repairs.
Section 1- That Section 12-11 of the Code of Ordinances of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government be and hereby is created:
