Summary
Authorization to accept the Collective Bargaining Agreement between LFUCG and Lexington Professional Firefighters lAFF Local 526, on behalf of Fire Majors. The Agreement was ratified by the Union. A final version of this document will be provided for the formal signing. This action is requested because the Council previously adopted Resolution No. 329-2011, which requires negotiated collective bargaining Agreements to be placed before the Council for acceptance. Pursuant to the Resolution, the summary statements regarding the impact of the Agreement are also attached. The cost for FY 2016 is $151,500. The additional cost for the length of the three (3) year Agreement will be $451,200. (L77-16)(Graham)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and Lexington Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 526 on behalf of Fire Majors in the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and hereby is accepted.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
