Summary
Authorization to execute Amendment to Agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet extending performance period of South Limestone Streetscape Project through September 30, 2015. The LFUCG has received these funds previously to install streetscape amenities on South Limestone from Vine Street to Avenue of Champions and on Vine Street from Broadway to Limestone. These amenities include intersection, ADA, and bicycle mobility improvements, transit shelter, site fixtures and furnishings, bicycle facilities, and signage. There is no budgetary impact. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Amendment to the Agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, extending the performance period for the South Limestone Streetscape Project through September 30, 2015.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
