BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to appoint a Douglass Park Centennial Commission to plan and organize activities celebrating the 100th anniversary of Douglass Park in 2016, which Commission shall expire on December 31, 2016.
Section 2 - That the Douglass Park Centennial Commission be and hereby is authorized to accept donations to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government to use for improvements to Douglass Park and events to be held at Douglass Park in celebration of its 100th anniversary.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
