A Resolution amending Resolution No. 303-2012 establishing a Residential Parking Permit Program for the 1200 block of Kastle Rd. for the portion of the road fronting on 1211-1231 on the west side and 1216-1240 on the east side, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from September 1 through May 31; to add to the Residential Parking Area the remainder of the 1200 block of Kastle Rd. and the portion of the 1300 block fronting on 1304 Kastle Rd., and waiving the provisions relating to the mechanics of designating Residential Parking Permit Areas adopted by Resolution No. 168-90 and amended by Resolution Nos. 450-91 and 433-2006. WHEREAS, the Council by Ordinance No. 57-90 enacted Section 18-114.1 of the Code of Ordinances establishing restrictions and prohibitions relating to the Residential Parking Permit Program, including penalties thereof, which section was subsequently amended by Ordinance No. 101-90; and
WHEREAS, the Council, by Resolution No. 168-90, adopted a procedure on Requests to Establish a Residential Parking Permit Program; which Procedure was subsequently amended by Resolutions Nos. 450-91 and 433-2006; and
WHEREAS, it is now the desire of the Council to amend the Residential Parking Permit Program for the portion of Kastle Road fronting on 1211-1231 on the west side and 1216-1240 Kastle Road on the east side, to add to that the remainder of the 1200 block of Kastle Road on both sides and that portion of the road fronting on 1304 Kastle Road, and to waive the provisions relating to the mechanics of designating residential parking permit areas set forth in the Procedures adopted by Resolution No. 168-90 and amended by Resolutions Nos. 450-91 and 433-2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
