Summary
Authorization to execute a Kentucky Community and Technical College System Ready-to-Work Student Employee Off-Campus Agreement for the placement of one student participating in its Ready-to-Work job training Program for the period between July 1, 2026, and January 6, 2027. Kentucky Community and Technical College will pay the student who will be placed in LFUCG's community centers within the Division of Parks and Recreation. No Budgetary impact. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Kentucky Community and Technical College System, and any other documents necessary, for placement of a student with the Division of Parks and Recreation, as part of the Ready-to-Work Student Work Study Program, at no cost to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
