BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That pursuant to Section 2.04 of the Charter of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, the Urban County Council hereby specifies its intention to expand and extend Partial Urban Services District #5 to provide the urban services of street lighting and garbage and refuse collection.
Section 2 - That the Urban County Council hereby specifies its intention to include the following properties, lots, tracts and parcels of land within the Partial Urban Services District #5:
TAX DISTRICT 05
ADDRESS RANGE STREET
107-209 ARCADIA PARK









Section 3 - That the Urban County Council has made the following findings:
A. That the properties, lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 2 above are within areas of residential and commercial development and are urban in character.
B. That as a result of this urbanization and in order to protect the public health, safety and general welfare of the residents, the Council finds that:
1. In order to provide well lit, safe streets to deter crime and contribute to traffic safety, there is a need for street lighting in said area.
2. In order to provide for the orderly removal of garbage and refuse from residences and commercial establishments on a timely basis, there is a need for garbage and refuse collection in said area.
