A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute an Agreement with Toyota, for donation of 10 child size motor vehicles for Safety City. [Div. of Police, Barnard]

Summary

Authorization to establish an Agreement with Toyota to accept a donation of ten (10) child size motor vehicles for Safety City that will be utilized for educational purposes.  The LFUCG owns and maintains Safety City to teach children safety and traffic rules.  The attached Agreement requires the Mayor’s signature.  No Budgetary implications.(L1575-15) (Barnard/Bastin)

                     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Toyota, for donation of 10 child size motor vehicles for Safety City.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
