NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor or her designees, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby are authorized to take all action necessary to participate in the Kentucky Attorney General’s opioid settlement with Kroger Company, including but not limited to the execution of any necessary documents.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
