BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept three (3) Grants from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Office of Highway Safety, which Grant funds are in the amount of $162,783.00 in Federal funds and are for Police Traffic Services Enforcement - FY 2021 ($108,333.00), the Occupant Protection Program ($32,450.00), and the Impaired Driving Program ($22,000.00), the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grants Budget previously established for these Grants.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
