Summary
Authorization to enter a Purchase Agreement between LFUCG and AK Associates for the Exacom Logging Recorder, per RFP# 65-2014. These devices will be used to record public safety radio communications and telephone lines in Enhanced 911. This system is compatible with the next generation of 911 services. This system will replace two separate analog required systems that are no longer manufactured, repair prone, and unable to support next generation communications recording. The bid includes integration of the new system and the Public Safety Operations Center and recording at a backup center. The cost will be $220,042.71. The funds are budgeted. (L0637-15)(Stack/Bastin)
