Title: A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute and submit a Grant Application to the Ky. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit an application to the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to execute an Agreement, subject to final approval from the Department of Law and the Division of Grants and Special Programs, in order to accept this Grant if the Grant is awarded, which Grant funds are in the amount of $200,000.00 in state funding for fiscal years 2023 and 2024, collectively, and are for the provision of Day Treatment Services within the Division of Youth Services, the acceptance of which will obligate the Urban County Government to the expenditure of $456,706.00 in funds for fiscal year 2023.
