BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit a Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the U.S. Department of Transportation under the RAISE Discretionary Grants Program, and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which seeks up to $25,000,000.00 in Federal funds, for the High Street Corridor Safety and Mobility Improvements Initiative.

                     Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
