BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement with Oracle America, Inc., a sole source provider, for the renewal of PeopleSoft Enterprise program licenses and one (1) year of technical support services.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, or his designee, on behalf of the Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute extensions of the software maintenance package in future fiscal years, subject to the appropriation of sufficient funds.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $616,366.69, be and hereby is approved for payment to Oracle America, Inc., from account #1101-210201-76102 ($185,000.00) and #2606-210101-71299 ($431,366.69) in FY 2016 subject to the approval of an appropriate budget amendment and pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and any necessary contract documents.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
