BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Agreements related to Neighborhood Development Funds, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Carnegie Literacy Center, Inc. dba Carnegie Center for Literacy
and Learning; Oakwood Neighborhood Association, Inc.; Lexington Humane Society;
Friends of the Lexington Senior Center Inc.; Colors of Promise Lexington KY Inc; Pralltown Neighborhood Association, Inc.; Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, Inc.; and United Negro College Fund, Inc. dba UNCF Columbus, for the Office of the Urban County Council.
Section 2 - That amounts, not to exceed the sums stated, be and hereby
are approved for payment to Carnegie Literacy Center, Inc. dba Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning ($500.00); Oakwood Neighborhood Association, Inc. ($250.00); Lexington Humane Society ($750.00); Friends of the Lexington Senior Center Inc. ($1,375.00); Colors of Promise Lexington KY Inc ($700.00); Pralltown Neighborhood Association, Inc. ($1,000.00); Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Bluegrass, Inc. ($1,150.00); and United Negro College Fund, Inc. dba UNCF Columbus ($1,200.00), from account #1101-121002-71214, from various Council Districts, pursuant to the terms of the Agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
