BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the U.S. Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women and to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which Grant funds are in the amount of $400,000.00 Federal funds from the Enhanced Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program, and are for a project designed to improve community response to victimization of older adults.
      Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with all community partners of the project for comprehensive participation required for the project and the grant application.
      Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
