BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Contract Modification No. 2 to the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Gresham Smith for the completion of a Phase II archeological site study for the Legacy Business Park project, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $282,528.00, to be paid with funds awarded under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), and raising the total Contract price from $2,265,682.00 to $2,548,210.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $282,528.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Gresham Smith from account #3230-136103-71205, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement and Contract Modification No. 2.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
