BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept Federal funds in the amount of $1,036,765.00, from the Kentucky Department of Military Affairs, Division of Emergency Management, awarded under the FY 2020 Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP), for the purpose of protecting the community and enhancing emergency response in case of chemical accidents during and after destruction of the chemical weapons stockpile at the Bluegrass Army Depot, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, attached and incorporated herein for reference, with the Kentucky Department of Military Affairs, Division of Emergency Management, for the purpose of protecting the community and enhancing emergency response in case of chemical accidents during and after destruction of the chemical weapons stockpile at the Bluegrass Army Depot.

                     Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
