Summary
Authorization to establish Cellebrite Inc., as a sole source vendor and accept the software license renewal. This is for the purchase of Cellebrite UFED 4PC Ultimate Renewal & Cellebrite UFED Touch2 Ultimate Renewal including upgrade fee to the UFED 4PC Ultimate. This will allow our Computer Forensics Unit to access files and create reports on cell phones and mobile devices for investigative purposes. The annual cost of the software license is $13,170. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Police is authorized to purchase software license renewal from Cellebrite Inc., a sole source provider, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute any necessary Agreement with Cellebrite Inc, related to the procurement.
Section 2 - That an amount, estimated not to exceed the sum of $13,170.00 be and hereby is approved for payment to Cellebrite Inc., from the following account #1101-505506-76102.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
