BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which Grant funds are in the amount of $1,506,791.00 in Federal funds, for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget previously established for this Grant.
Section 3 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with AVOL Kentucky, Inc., for continuation of the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Project.
Section 4 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $1,461,588.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to AVOL Kentucky, Inc., from account #3120-900212-71101 ($1,359,277.00) and account # 3120-900212-82301 ($102,311.00), pursuant to the terms of the Subrecipient Agreement.
Section 5 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
