BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the First Amendment to the Contract with the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to expand services provided for environmental education, for the Division of Environmental Services.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed $16,570.80 in FY 2023, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education, from accounts # 1101-313201-3094-71299 ($8,570.80) and # 3160-160705-0001-71299 ($8,000.00), pursuant to the terms of the First Amendment.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed $364,012.77 in FY 2024, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Kentucky Association for Environmental Education, from accounts # 1115-313201-3095-71299 ($110,742.22); # 4051-313201-3095-71299 ($110,742.22); # 4002-313201-3095-71299 ($41,528.33); # 1101-313201-3094-71299 ($56,000.00); and # 3160-160705-0001-71299 ($45,000.00), pursuant to the terms of the Second Renewal of the Contract, as amended, and subject to the Budgeting of sufficient funds in future fiscal years.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
