This is a request to execute an agreement with the IPTM and a Facility Usage Application with FCPS to provide a Crisis Hostage Negotiations Level 1 course for the Crisis Negotiation Unit, the Emergency Response Unit team members, and other law enforcement community partners. The cost is $12,500 for a 30 person class. Funds are budgeted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Institute of Police Technology and Management, and a Facility Usage Application with Fayette County Public Schools, for Crisis Hostage Negotiations Level I Course.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $12,500.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Institute of Police Technology and Management, from account #1131-505501-71299, pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
