BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That each civil service employee within the Division of Enhanced 911 employed in the following job classifications: Telecommunicator, Telecommunicator Senior, Telecommunicator Supervisor, Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Manager, and Radio/Electronics Specialist, and who is also employed prior to October 11, 2022 and on the date of distribution of the following respective payment(s) will receive a retention supplement payment in the amount of $1,760 on or before October 15, 2022, and an additional retention supplement payment in the amount of $2,240 on or before March 15, 2023.
Section 2 - That each civil service employee within the Division of Enhanced 911 employed in the following job classifications: Telecommunicator, Telecommunicator Senior, Telecommunicator Supervisor, Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Manager, and Radio/Electronics Specialist who is hired between October 11, 2022 and June 30, 2023, and is also employed on the date of distribution of the following respective payment(s) will receive a recruitment supplement payment in the amount of $900 on or about six months from his or her date of hire, and an additional recruitment supplemental payment in the amount of $2,100 on or about one year from his or her date of hire.
Section 3 - That the total amount of such payments is estimated not to exceed $328,092.00 with said funding fully appropriated and the payments to be made from personnel accounts contingent upon the approval of a budget amendment.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage of Council.
