Summary

Authorization to request approval of Change Order #1 to the LFUCG Contract with Van Hook Enterprises for construction services associated with the West Hickman WWTP Admin Building Renovation. The Change Order request of $22,530.04 is a 5.09% increase to the Contract amount.  The new Contract value is $465,530.04.  The Contract will also be extended, the new project completion date will be January 22, 2017, an increase of 102 calendar days.                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Vanhook Enterprises, Inc., for the West Hickman Waste Water Treatment Plant Administration Building Expansion/Improvements Project, increasing the contract price by the sum of $22,530.04 from $443,000.00 to $465,530.04 and extending the date of completion by one hundred and two (102) calendar days, to January 22, 2017.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $22,530.04, be and hereby is approved for payment to Vanhook Enterprises, Inc., from account # 4003 - 303401 - 92711 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
