Summary

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a direct re-allocation of federal Emergency Rental Assistance Grant funds from the U.S. Treasury, in an amount not to exceed $30 million dollars.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute any necessary subrecipient Agreements and/or amendments thereto, the final form of which are consistent with the existing Agreements for the same services and subject to approval by the Division of Grants and Special Program and the Department of Law, with Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison, and Nicholas Counties, Inc. (“CAC”) and Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, for the continued operation of the Housing Stabilization Program.
Section 3 - That the administration is authorized to act in accordance with this Resolution with the expectation that any necessary Budget amendment(s) will be presented to the Urban County Council for consideration and approval as soon as feasible.
Section 4 -- That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
