BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Subrecipient Agreements, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Lexarts, Inc. ($325,000.00), Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center Corporation ($127,500.00), and Explorium of Lexington ($125,000.00), in order to allocate $577,500.00 of federal grant funds under The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to assist these organizations with declines in revenue and/or periods of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other needed agreements or amendments with these organizations related to the use of these funds.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
